Last week I posted about UberEats model in driving sales to itself to support “Shout Lunch”.
It just didn’t seem like a happy meal to me.
But this idea from Burger King is a burger with the lot. They stopped selling Whoppers for one day in the US so as to support McDonald’s fundraisng for kids with cancer via the sales of Big Macs.
It shows Burger King has a systemic view of it’s business and its ability to create meaning and impact. It surprises and delights.
It also makes me hungry for more!
If it does the same for you, well…you’re experiencing how purpose drives relationships and engagement in multiples beyond the value of transaction.
Congratulations all involved.
